Media Profile

Our leading consultants at House Detectives have extensive media experience. Dr Jonathan Foyle and Dr Nick Barratt have appeared on BBC2's History Mysteries (2005) and co-presented Hidden House History for the History Channel (2006). We also work with Dr Mick Worthington, who also appeared on Hidden House History, and regularly contributes with Dr Foyle on Time Team.

Dr Foyle writes for the Sunday Times as a property expert, and regularly contributes to leading journals in the field of architecture and archaeology.

Dr Barratt worked as archive consultant and on-screen expert on BBC2's House Detectives (1997-2000) and presented a segment on house history for BBC1's Inside Out (2004). He has also authored The National Archive's bestseller Tracing the History of Your House (2nd edition 2006), and writes on personal heritage for the Telegraph, both online and as a columnist in the weekend section.

The team are available for media consultancy or presenting work, and are developing new formats for television. For further details, contact the team.
